Regan A. mCkay
Regan A. McKay is a costume designer currently based on the East Coast. Past selected design credits include Tick, Tick... Boom! at Cygnet Theatre, Notes on Killing... at MOXIE Theatre, Blues in the Night at North Coast Repertory Theatre, The Pleasure Trials at MOXIE Theatre, Mud Row at the Cygnet Theatre, Steel Pier, Cloud Nine, and Dog Sees God at San Diego State University, and King John and Marina for the Summer Conservatory at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, MA.

In 2019, she was an inaugural recipient of the Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship from Theatre Communications Group. She holds an M.F.A. in Costume Design from San Diego State University, and a B.S. in Theatre Design and Technology from Northern Michigan University, with Minors in English and Dance.
​
She is passionate about sustainable theatrical design and environmentally-mindful practices are at the core of her work. As an eco-conscious designer, prioritizing sustainability throughout both the design and production process is something she brings to every project and institution she works at. She hopes to help shift the industry to become more respectful of the planet through creative, eco-conscious design to ensure the arts will last for future generations.
